Hi, I am Ian the photographer behind A Very French Wedding and would describe myself as a lifestyle/editorial photographer.

I am passionate about photography and couldn’t imagine doing anything else as a career. I live in South West France with my wife Louise and our two dogs Bosco and Enzo.
I enjoy cycling the incredibly quiet roads of rural France, dreaming of a past career as a pro cyclist ( I wish ) and keep bees which supply me with enough honey for the year ans as plenty of presents for friends and family. I am also practicing my carpentry skills when I get the time.

I am very experienced working with hair and makeup artists to get the best possible images I can. I love working under pressure and at a fast pace when necessary. I love producing timeless, beautiful images which document such an incredible day in peoples lives.

I have a very relaxed and informal style, am easy going, good fun and enjoy making people laugh.

I divide my time between France and the UK and am happy to work in either country or further afield. Lets chat.
