Welcome to Chateau de Puybelliard, located in the heart of the Vendée, the 2th the sunniest part of France and only 25 minutes from the amazing Puy de Fou, 40 minutes from the coast and 5 minutes from Chantonnay, with its shops, Bars and restaurants.

Built in 1856 in the "Renaissance" style castles of the Loire Valley, Chateau de Puybelliard offers spacious and charming rooms, fully equipped for your comfort. The owners Maeve and Jerome have opened their home to give you a glimpse of a bygone era and share the joy of staying in a French Château. The house has undergone renovations over many years and continues to be upgraded all the time. Enjoy the heated pool, and jacuzzi in what was the walled kitchen garden, where barbecues and relaxed dining is available during the hot summer months.

Within the Château, you can enjoy the library bar, with big screen TV for major sporting events or relax in the lounge with games and books in comfort and tranquility. Alternatively , you can stroll in the garden, explore the estate’s woods or visit the picturesque village of Puybelliard, a short walk from the gates with its famous 12th century church and 14th century tower.
