Un style épuré et des lignes organiques caractérisent le design Scandinave.

Des créations sans fioritures qui reflètent l’esprit de la culture des pays du Nord (Danemark, Suède, Norvège, Finlande, Islande) où le bois et autres matières naturelles trouvent naturellement leur place, où l’esthétique et le confort sont aussi importants que la fonctionnalité.

Passionnés par le design, Louise & Gregory, on depuis longtemps le désir de faire partager leur goût pour les belles choses. Des formes, des textures et des couleurs douces s’inspirant de la nature, sources d’inspirations inépuisables pour des intérieurs chaleureux, clairs et lumineux.

Louise, 34 ans, d’origine Danoise, a baignée toute sa vie dans ce style de vie propre aux pays du nord où l’esthétisme et le confort sont religion.

Gregory, 36 ans, d'origine Française, est, quand à lui, directeur artistique d'un restaurant à Paris dont il a en charge toute la décoration intérieur.

Leur philosophie : la simplicité du dessin, la qualité des matériaux utilisés et ce besoin actuel d’utiliser des matières simples et naturelles.

Boutiques de prêt à porter, salons de coiffure, restaurants, bars, ou tout simplement chez soi; le retour du beau et du fonctionnel s’est imposé comme une évidence.

Que se soit pour trouver une pièce de designer connue ou pour ‘chiner’ du mobilier pour un particulier, ils ont au fil du temps crée un réseau d’approvisionnement au Danemark, en Suède, en Hollande et en Belgique.

Maison Nordik, c’était l'envie d'ouvrir un espace de vente dédié au style Scandinave ou pièces de designers côtoient les classiques des années 50 et 60. Enfilades en teck ou en palissandre de Rio, canapés en cuir, tables, céramiques, chaises... Tout est vintage.

Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wegner, Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Kaare Klint, Niels Vodder, Arne Jacobsen… sont quelques noms qui ont marqué l’histoire du design Scandinave à travers le monde.

On pourrait penser à une énième boutique du genre dans le quartier du marais, mais non, c'est dans le 18ème arrondissement de Paris qu'ils ont décidé de s'implanter.

Le soin apporté à leur sélection sera ravir tous les amateurs du genre... A visiter d'urgence...

Gregory, 36 years old, of French origin, is the artistic director of a Parisian restaurant where he takes care of the interior decorating and design.

Their philosophy: the simplicity of design, quality of materials and a modern reflex to use simple and natural materials. Forms, textures and soft colors inspired by nature are endless sources of inspiration for interiors that are warm, clear and luminous.

Maison Nordik has pieces for your home, ready-to-wear boutiques, hairdressers, restaurants, bars or for those who “treasure hunt” for designer collectors pieces. They now have a strong supply network coming from Denmark, transporting only the finest, hand chosen items.

The return to beautiful, functional and sustainable objects is a popular trend that practically goes without saying.

Maison Nordik was created from the desire to open a sales room dedicated to the Scandinavian style where designer items are displayed in the context of the classics of the 50s and 60s. The room is filled with designer lamps, beautiful ceramics and furniture made out of teak or Rio rosewood … All is vintage.

Finn Juhl, Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Arne Vodder, Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Verner Panton, Kaare Klint, Arne Jacobsen... are just a few names that have dominated the history of Scandinavian design throughout the world and that Maison Nordik stock from time to time.

You are probably thinking that you’ll find this boutique in the neighborhood of the Marais? Guess again! It’s in the unlikely 18th District of Paris where Louise and Gregory decided to set up the shop, as they bet on the stylish future of Rue Marcadet.
We must admit that this neighborhood is changing.
