The 24h of innovation® challenge is an annual event that is organized since 2007 by the engineering institute ESTIA in Biarritz. The participants have 24 hours to work on innovation development (products and services) proposed by industrials coming from different sectors, research laboratories, associations, and private persons. The event is organized as follows: a call for project proposal and participation is sent out before the event. At the official opening of the event, the most interesting topics are revealed, and the teams are formed and have 24 hours to develop the solutions - innovative concepts or prototypes - corresponding to the project proposals. 24 hours after, each team presents its propositions during only 3 minutes in front of a jury that awards the best teams with prices offered by the sponsors.
