Dechen Chöling is a meditation centre nestled in a beautiful and peaceful landscape in central France, where people from around the world come to learn to open up to the richness of their personal potential through the practice of meditation and other contemplative disciplines.

Surrounded by rolling meadows, magnificent old trees and French farmhouses, since 1995 Dechen Chöling has offered hundreds of programmes on meditation, mindfulness, yoga and other contemplative arts. It is a place where one of the basic truths of Buddhist philosophy - that people can be profoundly open to the wisdom of the present moment - is easily accessible.

Dechen Chöling includes three meditation halls, full dining facilities, dormitory and camping accommodation and an organic garden. Its nurturing and healing qualities make it an excellent place for discovering your own inner wisdom and meaning in life, exploring how to genuinely connect with others, and how to draw strength and creativity from the world around us.
