Making up for the limitations and weakness of GPS

Satellite navigation signals (GPS signals as well as future Gallileo signals) cannot be used for localization inside buildings, parking lots or underground, where signals are weakened or blocked.

Yet the indoor and outdoor localization requirements of both consumers (via smart phones) and businesses are fast-growing in particular in terms of security as well as control and optimization of work methods.

To meet increasing demand for indoor localization solutions, Pole Star has designed and developed the NAO Campus® indoor localization technology for consumer and professional applications.
