[FR] Composé de six voix d’hommes, ce choeur se caractérise par une inventivité toujours renouvelée et une interprétation exigeante. Il perpétue la tradition orale insulaire mais est également reconnu pour son exploration d’autres domaines du chant polyphonique, notamment à travers des créations d’œuvres contemporaines. Le chemin parcouru en plus de trois décennies est riche d’expériences et de rencontres qui nourrissent leurs créations.

[EN] The polyphonic ensemble A Filetta is one of Corsica's leading singing groups. Founded in 1978, this formation, whose main objective was to participate in the preservation of the island's oral heritage, has largely opened up to the outside world whilst staying anchored in its homeland. The group is characterised by an inventiveness that is continually renewed and by exacting performances. The singers have absolutely no feeling of being the sentinels or guardians of some temple or sanctuary. Identity cannot be decreed, does not let itself be organised and does not project itself; it develops in the breath of men…
