About 3 hours south of Paris, in the Auvergne region just slightly west of Vichy, you'll find the village of Saint Germain de Salles banking the Sioule river. The Auvergne region sports breathtakingly rolling landscapes with its forests, its high plains and its extinct volcanoes.
Situated at the heart of this splendour near Saint Germain de Salles, you'll find the picturesque estate of Domaine les Gandins.
Domaine les Gandins dates back to 1674. A prominent country house, surrounded by gîtes (authentic farm buildings converted into holiday homes) and a small campground, stands at the center of the estate. For those guests who like the touch of luxury, the house has three warmly decorated chambres d'hôtes, or full-service guestrooms.
You may enjoy the French kitchen nightly, sitting around the fireplace with family and friends.
