High Voltage Test Systems was founded by Bruno Haas, the present Managing Director.
When he left the Swiss group Haefely, for whom he had worked for 16 years as Director of After Sales Services, Bruno Haas was clearly conscious of the need for technical support during and after the installation of test equipment. His recognition of a highly specific and demanding window of opportunity led him to found HVTS in 1995. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength.
From 1995 to December 1998, HVTS was based in Guebwiller (Alsace), but the location soon proved too small to keep up with the rapidly expanding demand for HVTS’s services.
A new, custom-built factory was inaugurated in January 1999, in the Parc des Collines industrial zone in Mulhouse.
Due to rapid and steady growing, HVTS had to add a new storage and technical section to the factory. Built in 2002, this new area is designed to accommodate the increasingly large scale projects the company is called upon to undertake.

- Upgrade and modernization of existing equipment
- expertise in partial discharge and Tangente Delta measurements
- Removal and relocation of complete HV testing facilities
- Training for staff operation
- Supply of specialized spare parts
