Welcome to the WATOG Foundation project's Facebook page !

WATOG is an international association, which will organize an OB/GYN workshop every 3 years (coupled to FIGO World congress), with real attention to equity among OB/GYN trainees from all over the world. We ensure funding for each participant (travel, accommodation and meals), with equity toward developing countries and respect for gender parity.

The Principles are to help every OB/GYN trainee in the world to access the highest level of teaching, to overcome cultural barriers and to facilitate contacts and exchange between trainees from different countries. It is also an opportunity to establish gender parity as a major concern for future generations of OB/GYN and to attenuate differences and segregation of any kind.

The first General Assembly for the WATOG foundation project will take place on Sunday 7th October 2012, preliminary to the World FIGO Congress in Rome from 8th to 12th of October.

Our organization takes care of the entire organisation, funding and full responsibility for the trainee's workshop to come in 2015, while the choice of educational content will be subjected to validation by FIGO.
