1938 Daniel Cremieux was born on May 22nd in France

1955 At age 17, Daniel studied English in London. It was here where he first discovered this sense of preppy sophistication style sported by the University students

1971 Stephane Cremieux was born on February 16th in Marseille

1976 Daniel Cremieux launched his first namesake store in St. Tropez. The boutique offered a mix of imported shirts, sweaters, and ties from Britain. Mr. Cremieux was the first who dared to use vivid and bright hues in his collections during a time when fashion was consumed by dark colors in France.

The boutique also featured European sourced apparel and bright accessories proposed an authentic charm reflective of the French Riviera grace. Thus, the Cremieux brand was born.

The Cremieux style is grounded on passion, details, and uncompromising quality.

Through the years, Cremieux has been a family business. Both Daniel and his son Stephane, built a global business with like-minded distributors and partners that share the common family values and vision for the future.

2003 Stephane took over the company and ushered a new modern vintage aesthetic for the international consumer. Cremieux’s key to success is answering the evolving needs of the customers through the years.

2009 The company changed its’ name to Cremieux and unveiled a new ‘38’ logo paying tribute to Daniel’s year of birth. Styles will evolve over time, but the brand will always embody a youthful yet sophisticated Saint-Tropez spirit. As Daniel Cremieux says, “there is no future without the past.”
